Kansas City, here I come

I don't often post acting-related stuff here anymore (I think pretty much anyone reading this knows that mostly happens over on Blogger or various social media), but in the vein of keeping folks posted about stuff they might actually be able to see: Witchfinder, a (really quite amazing for micro-budget) short I shot last November, is all finished and off to its first festival in April. And I'll be going with it, on a road trip with the director and a couple other folks.

If you're in the area, (a) I'd love to see you, and (b) I'd really love to see you at the screening. (If it's your bag, of course. There's not a lot of gore, but it's pretty creepy, in an old-school Hammer sort of vein.) The festival is Panic Fest (link goes to their website with ticket info, etc.), and Witchfinder screens at 3:00 on April 20 at the Screenland Crossroads, as part of the Short Film Showcase block.

I've been all a-squee about this one since I first saw the props and stuff they were already working on last spring, and I've seen the rough cut but not the finished version yet. You can get a pretty good idea from the trailer:

So, wanna come? :-)

Yay road trip! I hope you have a lot of fun. "Old-school Hammer" sounds very cool.
