I haven't been keeping up with the ratings for Missing (or anything else, for that matter), but I'm unsurprised by its cancellation just on general principles.
I can still be irked by it, though. My TV needs MORE Becca Winstones on it, not less. Female, over 40, and complicated as hell. Can't possibly have that, now can we?
What, wasn't she pretty enough or sexy enough for them? :: rolls eyes :: I luff Ashley Judd and have never seen her in anything where she hasn't been awesome. I liked the premise for the show but never was home in time to watch it. Sigh.
It was actually a better show than I expected, in the sense that there was a bit more character depth, though it was still firmly in spy-thriller territory more than Serious Drama.
I actually think it was a rare case where Jim Parriott being terminally From The 70s worked in his favor. It often felt more than a little like an updated take on a lot of the stuff he wrote for The Bionic Woman back in the day.
Sooo I could maybe pretend to be all frail and "accidentally" hit people with a cane when they are idiots? On occasion? Since doing that regularly sounds like no fun at all, but targeted well the tactic could be useful. (When I am in my eighties, I intend to be deadly. ;) )
