Oh... dear.

It should surprise no one here that I'm ALL for Mitchell not being allowed out unsupervised for, well, probably longer than is actually going to happen. And I concede that Annie is the best available option in this instance. But... well... Annie. *facepalm*

It is that. Though after that interview with the BHUS trio, I'm holding out hope for some of their particular goofiness to come out in their show.

I was thinking George. "You're not going for a job interview without a tie? Mitchell!"

At the very least, I assume it belongs to him...

OH GOD, THAT BETTER BE IN THE EPISODE, THAT WOULD BE SO HILARIOUS!! If he attempted to tie it for him it'd be even better!

It would be pretty funny. But that, I suspect, Annie will do. I will bet you cash money she used to tie Owen's for him. Which takes it to a not-so-funny place, but still.

UK BH S3 E2 "Adam's Family"
Not just in this snippet, but in the actual episode as well -- mood spoiler for anyone reading this who hasn't seen UK BH S3 E2! -- I'm afraid that they rampantly triggered my embarrassment squick. I was hiding my face and yearning for the scene to just end. I knew it was supposed to amuse, but I couldn't take it.

Re: UK BH S3 E2 "Adam's Family"
I don't even have an embarrassment squick, and it got to be a bit much. In the same episode with Adam's... less-than-ept social skills, it was really a bit much.

I really wonder about certain male (and particularly British male, it seems) writers and how much they go back to the adolescent (or overgrown-adolescent, for which Mitchell can be the poster boy) awkwardness well. They seem to find it cathartic, bless 'em, but dude.

Not to be spoilerfull here to anyone who has not yet seen that episode, but... it is, throughout, low-level torture for embarrassment squicks.

I take what comfort I can in the fact that George and Nina were right there with me. :-)
