Billions and billions

This is GENIUS.

We can be certain one small sliver of NASA's budget has been very well spent indeed.

OH MY GOD THIS IS SO MUCH MAGIC! Go team Felicia Day!

I'm glad to know NASA has some nerds working there... ;)

I heart Felicia something fierce. Even though "Do You Wanna Date My Avatar" is the earwormiest earworm that ever earwormed.

I don't really recognize either of the clearly famous people here, but... "You do know we're inside, right?" made me laugh most of all. :-)

Me too!

The redhead is Felicia Day, who played Vi (the very nervous potential Slayer who usually wore a beret) in the final season of Buffy. She's gone on to be better known as Penny (the fridged love interest) in Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog, and -- more interesting to me -- as the creator and star of The Guild, which was on the cutting edge of the explosion of independent webseries and remains probably the most successful.

The other famous person is the voice of Sean Astin (Sam Gamgee, most notably) on the tape. The director isn't someone I've seen before.

ROTFL

Gawd, maybe I should actually try to make an effort to check out 'Dr Horrible's Sing-along blog', 'cause everything *else* I've seen Felicia Day in I've just *adored*. [and I even love the *video* for 'Do you want to date my avatar'! LOL]

Sean's part...wonder if he got a kick out of it, 'cause *man* it's sure funny to listen to! LOL He did a great job of it, especially if they didn't actually edit his voice together like that. *G*

I loved about 2/3 of Dr Horrible, and then it went a bit astray, IMHO. But it's certainly worth seeing for a variety of reasons.

The "Avatar" video is just plain brilliant. Yummy cheesy synthpop geeky goodness
