I am fire and life incarnate! *spuh*

Lots and lots and lots of walking at WWC. For which the Phoenix costume is not particularly well suited. Feet and knees displeased. Very very very tired.

Much fun. Phoenix and Brainy both popular, many photos taken. I got one with a Dark Phoenix & also one with an original X-team minus Beast. Jack got ones with a Supergirl and very small, very serious Saturn Girl. :: ded of cute :: Will be uploaded and shared soon.

Met two childhood heroines in one day: Nichelle Nichols and Margot Kidder. Was declared to "look sexy" by Kristanna Loken.

Broke doll-buying moratorium, despite surprise arrival in mail yesterday of personal doll army, because Tonner Supergirl on sale for $50 was not to be resisted. Had nice conversation with Eric Tonner.

Have summoned the pizza spirits. Being exhausted but happy lumps on couch.

The idea of your personal doll army makes me just slightly nervous. And desirous of drawing my own army of battle gerbils.

I am living vicariously through you today. Just so you know. :-)

But without the protesting joints. That's a plus!

That is so awesome! :)

And I, for one, welcome our new doll overlords...

Now they just need a proper place to live...

You met Nichelle Nichols. I just dropped dead from envy.

I felt a little bad, as I got to her table just as she was starting to pack up. But she was her gracious self, and seemed pleased when I picked the recent photo of the three she had available, and smiled when I said "Welcome home."

I hope I can be half that classy at her age.

Sounds like much fun was had and totally wicked you met both Nichelle Nichols & Margot Kidder in the same day.

It didn't even really dawn on me until I was standing in front of Margot Kidder. If you'd told me thirty years ago that I'd get to meet Uhura and Lois Lane within about 45 minutes, I would have laughed you out of the room.

You too! Pictures are coming soon... ish...

eeee!! I wanna see pics!! [as soon as you can get 'em. *G*] I'll bet your feetsies were complaining, considering Phoenix's boots. hee

A TONNER doll for $50??? Had I had that kind of money and come across that, trust me I'd not have passed it up either. LOL

Yay for a personal doll army! Maybe yours and mine can merge and take over the world!! Yay!!

I've never met Margot Kidder....want to. Nichelle...she's a *doll*. One of my more amusing stories is the time my younger brother and I saw her at a convention. He was in this "I need a wicked nickname!" and decided it was to be "chainsaw". Of course, that's what he requested, and she's like "Oh no, I'm not doing that!" Finally, T had to settle for his name. He moved down to where George Takai was sitting [just a bit down the table, within earshot], where George asks my brother who to sign it to. Before T could open his mouth, Nichelle points down the table at him and says "Don't you *dare*!" Cracked me UP!

I'm thinking the $50 special was for Supergirl's 50th anniversary, because it was such serious markdown. And the other prices -- both regular and sale -- were something-99.

And I have no doubt whatsoever that George listened to Nichelle on that one! :-D
