I dunno, I think it might not be enough to choose from. ;-> Y'know, since I limited myself to stuff for which I figure we'll have appropriate personnel participating in the July festival. Also off the top of my head and heavily skewed toward my personal favorites.

I made a random comment about it on Twitter, and a fellow struggling actor asked me if I meant Solange Knowles. Alas, my friend, I have a few modest connections, but Solange Knowles' email address is definitely not one of them. :-D

It's never the short ones that get broken. Always the long ones. :)

Fantastic list!

I will, of course, blame you for the inevitable ear-worms that result from having read through said list!

What about 'You Can Always Count on Me' from City of Angels? I know it's supposed to be the real character and the fantasy character sort of...transferring or morphing or something, but I'd expect you could get around that somehow.

I thought about it, but "What You Don't Know..." is snappier and works better out of context. And you don't really need both unless you're actually doing CoA. :-)

Trust, me, not having Basement Baby as a personal connection is a good thing - that I totally respect! :D

I know basically nothing about her, other than the obvious family ties, except that she was in one of the Bring It On sequels. Am entirely indifferent. Just thought it was funny -- I had forgotten there was a famous person with that name!

There'd be more, but I was mostly concentrating on stuff Solange wouldn't think of herself. I can play anything on this list in my head with full orchestration have a broader knowledge of musical theatre rep, which comes in handy when the company decides to play crossover.
