A plea

After turning my house upside-down twice, I've come to the conclusion that the pixies have made off with my copy of Tony Kushner's A Bright Room Called Day.

Does anyone have one I can borrow, and/or could you scan and email me Paulinka's monologue about the black poodle? I want to use it for an audition this weekend, and need to refresh my memory as I haven't done it it over a year. And you just know as soon as I break down and buy a new copy, it'll turn up!

ETA: Success! Behold the power of Google. There's stuff I like in the snipped part, but this will do in a pinch. (Still wanna know where my darn book has gotten to, though...)

Re: What is missing
The first comment was the beginning of the piece, and the second was the replaced "snip."

I think you'd loose a lot if you don't start that monologue with "I've seen Him." But that's me. Starting with "You know that scene..." is not nearly as interesting.

But if you ever need a source for anything Kushner, I'm your girl. I'm fairly sure I have copies of everything he's written except Caroline or Change.

I agree, but unfortunately the whole bit about Karlsruhe (which I love) makes it too long for an audition piece. :-/
