Two random observations

1) Pow! Tanith Belbin crush back full force. *gorpy grin* OMGcutehaircut!

2) Lionel Luthor is listening to the slowest damn "Der Hölle Rache" I have ever heard in my life. I think maybe they actually slowed it down to lower the pitch. In which case, possibly they should have picked something else? I'm totally picturing Pamina going "Yeah, sure, Mom, whatever." Because, um, so not scary this way.

(Yes, I'm watching Smallville for the first time in at least three years, on account of Gina guest starring. I seem to be at the mercy of my girlcrushes this evening. *g* Oh, hey, Gina gets to look like a grownup. Yay!)

It's, well, whatever-season-this-is SV. But fun to watch after all her bouncing about it on her blog. :-)

Hey neat! Good thing Tivo catches Smallville.

Mostly because I wait for Green Arrow to show up... *swoon*

No Ollie this week. (I have seen the occasional five minutes the last few years; brainiacfive still records it, though I don't know how much he actually watches it anymore.) But there is Chief Tyrol's extremely creepy twin. Vancouver Rep. ;-)

Damn, I missed the skating competition. I always root for Tanith and Ben, because we go to the same sport medicine specialist. (For different reasons: they to keep their "skating equipment" in top form, I for long-term consequences of not getting physical therapy immediately after getting a cast removed mumblemumble years ago.)

They were adorable. The OD was a folk dance (somewhat loosely interpreted in all cases, obviously) and they came up with a "hoedown" that started with "Cotton-Eyed Joe" and ended with Tanith stealing Ben's hat. (I'm still kinda scratching my head about the Kerrs wearing decidedly Scots kilts and starting with "Erin Shore," but they brought the house down. And Susie Wynne was right that he's one of the few guys who could get away with skating in a kilt, more's the pity...)

She went *boom* in the compulsory dance (the toepick lies in wait for everyone, never know when it will strike!) so they're fighting their way up. They're fifth after last night.

Tanith and Ben were soooo adorable last night. Pity they fell and went boom in the compulsories. And I loved the Kerr guy in his kilt. :-)
