Which I actually should have posted way sooner, but I got a bit sidetracked with the multiple auditions and callbacks and rehearsals and holiday and traveling hubby and imaginary people having long arguments that will require extensive editing once written.

I'll be singing something this Saturday if this stooopid cold clears up enough by then. Next week I'll be in Colorado, but I'll probably be singing again on the 28th.

Magdalena Music Festival - Every Saturday Evening in July

Come and enjoy the great Italian food at Café Magdalena (13 Douglas Avenue in Downtown Elgin) & the beautiful music performed by the singers of ELGIN OPERA TRAINING ENSEMBLE every Saturday night in July from 6 – 9 PM. Singers will include the winners & finalists of ELGIN OPERA First Annual Vocal Competition as well as some of the professional singers of the opera company. Repertoire will include Italian Songs, Famous Opera Excerpts & Show Tunes. Concert Pianist & Conductor, Rosemary Schroeder will accompany the singers at the piano. This event is made possible by the Florence B. and Cornelia A. Palmer Foundation. Free admission!
