Seriously, Sony, WTF? Solange wants to make some demo CDs to put in with grant proposals and PR packets and such, and I'm the third person to attempt to reason with this infernal thing she got suckered into buying. After downloading the driver and the proprietary software, and trying every conceivable setting to convince it to upload the recorded tracks into my computer, I finally checked the FAQ on Sony's website.
Which specifically states that tracks recorded on the device can only be "uploaded" by recording them analog through the headphone jack and the computer's sound card.
This? Is seventeen flavors of STUPID.
Amusing observation? The extension for their proprietary file format is ".omg". I can't make this stuff up.
