Elgin OPERA presents
Madama Butterfly
sung in Italian with English supertitles
Cahn Auditorium (Northwestern University, Evanston) Sunday, March 11, 2007, 3:00 p.m.
Adults $25.00
Students/Seniors $20.00
Tickets available at the door, or call (847) 214-8340 or email operaoffice@aol.com
Will Bitchy Cousin Geisha Val demonstrate the grace of the willow as she traverses the rather slippery footbridge in her zori, or will she fall on her painted face? LAST CHANCE to be there to find out!
Chicago folks, this is your opportunity to get there by public transportation without planning a major expedition. Also, as of yesterday there was still a need for ushers. Email me if you want to go that route to seeing it for free!

(That's so weird. I copied it from the original plug post, which was missing the time for the Elgin performance, but I'd swear had it for the other two...)
GAH!
I should pull my head out of my foot and visit here more often! I could keep in the loop. I would LOVE TO HAVW SEEN YOU IN THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(litany of four, five and six-letter words...)
Sorry you missed it! :-(
Have I told you about my friend Katherine? She reminds me of you frequently, and I honestly think you'd both get on like a house on fire.
She's a total theater-maven, and has an interest in fantasy/sci-fi/genre stuff, and MAKES CHAIN MAIL.
Anyway, she's been banging her head against the wall auditioning in the city. I think it might boost her spirits to meet a kindred one.
I think you have mentioned Katherine, and would love to meet her. I also need to send you the email of a guy at work who's looking for advice on music recording/production software.
We have to find a way for both you and Katherine to meet. I'm sure you'd like each other immensely, and find lots of common ground.
Anyway, keep me in the loop about all this stuff. Not only am I interested in it because you're in it, and good at it, but because I've been a little remiss in getting my own heiney out there to get some theater projects of my own going.
