Another autograph in the Lizzie journal

Went to the last day of the Flashback Weekend horror con today, and did one autograph line for non-horror reasons: Patricia Quinn. Because it's Lizzie-related, the account of our conversation is part of today's post on my actor blog.

If you don't want to read that whole thing, I'll tell you she's, er, not a fan of Desperate Romantics, not entirely because of its own merits, but because of her experience with being called to read for it. "I said, 'Ruskin's mother??"

She's a hoot, and absolutely lovely... and has in her possession a complete copy of The Love School. It does still exist! \o/

In other news, George Romero has a lot of stories, and is not one to mince words. ("I went to see World War Z and I wanted to kill myself. Then a week later I went to see Man of Steel, and suddenly World War Z looked pretty good.") Neither of these things is particularly surprising, but they are entertaining. :-)

So I'm gathering! We haven't braved it yet, though we probably will now that it's at the discount place.

'World War Z' wasn't so bad. Could have been better...could have been worse. Made me a bit cranky though, that it's OBVIOUSLY set up for a sequel. :P

I think though that the hubby and I are probably going to be the ONLY people on the PLANET that actually enjoyed 'Man of Steel', though.

You're not the only ones on the planet, but I think you're the only ones I know. ;-)

I haven't seen either yet myself, so I have no judgment.
