Of the non-Office-of-Doom-related variety, that is. Though I still occasionally think "Editing video at work! Does not compute! Does not compute!" Even though all I'm making is marketing pieces aimed at creditors.

Until the other day, when I uploaded my (long-in-need-of-being-updated) reel:

It was nice to have more footage to play with and be able to get a little more creative with the editing this time. I'll admit to stealing/adapting some ideas from whoever cut Amy Manson's, and to being cocky enough to think they could have done a better job with the sound balance (seriously, dude, I could have fixed that in like five minutes!). Still, I looked at a whole bunch of people's current ones, and that one would have stood out even if it hadn't been someone I'm a fan of, so they were clearly doing something right, while still serving the purpose of keeping the focus on the performances (even if you can't always hear them properly). (Tangentially, it has several clips that I think must be from January, which sounds really intriguing and for which I want a release date yesterday. Right now all IMDbPro says is "UK 2013.")

Now, of course, I have the vidding bug again, but zero time to indulge it. I also really want to be in something that has a fandom that makes vids. Because vids are cool. For now, this is as close as I get. ;-)

cohesive despite being character-chaotic (if that makes sense).

It does, and thanks!!

That's what it sounded like in person. Hardwood-floor hallway full of closed doors, except for (of course) the bathroom. I tried to dampen the reverb a bit, but it just ended up sounding weird, and in any case that's what it sounds like in the movie. *shrug* I played with the volume a lot, but there was really no way it was going to quite match up regardless.

Very nice! You should compile a list of what scenes went with which projects and the parts you played (for we who do not know). :)
