Y halo thar meds

No migraine for months. Possibly even a year. Of course it has to come poking around the edges of my brain as we go into the holiday weekend of six shows in five days.

All hail recognizable aura and modern pharmaceuticals!

And blinds. And offices with doors. And part-time hours.

I'm sorry about the migraine ambush. I hope it surrenders immediately to the medicine, and that your brain lets you regroup soon!

Thank you! It did, indeed, remain in the "manageable" category, and even slacked off entirely in the afternoon/early evening. All seems better this morning; crossing fingers that will continue.

You poor thing. Timing can sometimes be much of the suck, especially when migraines and busy schedules combine. I hope the meds head the worst of it off at the pass and help you get better soon.

So...what was the random memory?

And it's you, me, and englishlitrulz with the migraines this week, though Laura has been entirely debilitated and is going to the doc tomorrow because she is younger than us and hasn't yet convinced the doc they are a) migraines and b) deserving of meds. The WEEK-LONG debilitating headache with light and sound sensitivity and nausea and vomiting MIGHT convince the doc who, last time, said, "Take aspirin and sleep it off," when she was a teenager.

Anyway...I wonder if there's something up that we're all migraining together. I'm just VERY grateful for my meds because mine is TOTALLY gone. YAY tryptans!

So...what was the random memory?

Mostly it was the cake-batter smell this time, although there was that earworm of an 80s song I loathe and had forgotten the existence of.

Ugh, poor her. :-( My attacks haven't been NEARLY as bad as a decade ago, or as bad as most of my friends', thank heaven. Though I do need to get that Midrin scrip re-upped just in case.
