Like a hole in the head.

Actually, no, I'd much rather get an email from one of the instructors of the last Shakespeare & Company weekend workshop I did in Toronto email me an audition notice for an audition I can't possibly make -- even if I could currently afford to move to a country where I am not eligible to work -- than have a hole drilled in my head.

But only marginally.

This has been Val's Underemployed Actress Cranky Moment of the Week.

The good is clearly that they like you and are thinking of you. The wrong-country part is of course the bad.

When's the word on Oliver! coming back?

I wish I had good answers or ways to help you get stimulating, challenging, different, and rewarding parts.

Or at least that Chris still has my email to throw into a mass mailing. Which this was, complete with request to pass on to other potentially interested parties. :-)

Auditions the 16th & 17th; I expect I'll hear sometime that week.

If this thing in TO weren't the 17th, I'd be so tempted to try to finagle it anyway...

I'm with Amy; at least they remember you fondly.

Wish I had some suggestions that didn't include a change of venue as well. Any more news about Jack's job hunt?

Hey, if you come to Denver, I can at least point you to Aspire. Even if they aren't real well-known, you never know.

Much sympathy, always.
