They have their uses, but...

Dear Facebook,

Please to make it possible to indicate (ETA: in an invite) that an event runs for more than one day, so as to avoid the flurry of "Sorry, I have a show that night!" responses to invitations EVERY DAMN TIME. It's very tiresome.

Dear MySpace,

For the love of all that's holy, please extinguish whatever the hell is making your login page crash Firefox EVERY DAMN TIME, all day, at least three days a week. Never mind users; that's not exactly top-quality service to your advertisers.

Thanks awfully,
Val

The conference facebook site just has a start and end time, which we've got as starting friday and ending sunday. Doesn't yours do that?

The event entry does. But if you send out invites to Facebook members, only the start date will show. Even if you write a note to go with the invite, they won't see it unless they click through.
