Interesting news here. Relevant points:

1. From an email sent out by Lifetime: Beginning Saturday, February 9th and Sunday, February 10th, at 10PM(ET/PT) "Blood Ties" watch the entire series from the beginning. A different episode will air on Saturday and Sunday nights on Lifetime Real Women (LRW). Check with your local cable provider to find out if LRW is available in your area.

2. Someone in comments quotes a different, longer email indicating that the last two eps will be available on iTunes after today.

And of course, the usual "no decision has been made regarding a third [*eyeroll*] season" spiel.

I've never heard of LRW, and am sure it's not on our current package, but the information could be useful to somebody, so here it is.

I'm so cynical. My immediate thought is that Lifeteime Real Women must be a premium channel (i.e. available at additional cost, meaning additional revenue for Lifetime); therefore although Lifetime won't go so far as to satisfying the fans clamoring for another season, they will try to squeeze more money out of those fans by dangling the prospect of seeing the show again for a small additional charge each month.

My second immediate though was that the women on Lifetime Real Women are probably about as real as Barbie.

*chuckle* I typed something very similar to your first paragraph, and deleted it before posting. I've made the conscious decision to consider all news completely neutral and ignore implications unless the news is a factual declaration that Kaleidoscope has confirmed they're going ahead. Anything else will make me crazy.

And I'm taking the fifth on your second thought. But I should really send you a copy of that short I was talking about at Windy...

Yep. I've watched the second-to-last one now -- it went up on iTunes and I went through the Firefox News link so the commission would go to the Actors' Fund.

Haven't looked to see if the last one is up there. I'm still trying to wait until after this Friday, when it was supposed to air, but I don't know if I'll make it. %-}

But they're all up on the Lifetime website now if you want to go that route.

Kewl! I still need to watch the first half of the season too.

I really liked all the flashback scenes to when Vickie was still a cop and partnered with Salucci in the one I saw. Every episode just got better and better. Even Ray was getting into it.

I'll be hoping for a 1st season DVD set and that if anything, they'll have new episodes in Canada - coz theoretically, they would eventually go on DVD and I could just snag those on Amazon.com Canada.
