Now that's just evil

Things Of Which I Would Be Blissfully Ignorant If There Were No Fandom, #698: Apparently somebody screwed up, and for a while last night and/or this morning Lifetime had the next Blood Ties ep (the one that won't air until OCTOBER) available for streaming on the website. It was quickly caught and replaced with the Army Wives premiere that was supposed to be up, so just a smattering of very on-the-ball people have seen it.

That's... that's... I think the word I'm looking for is "diabolical."

And I kinda hope someone at Lifetime is smart and sneaky enough to have planned the "mistake." It's unlikely, but fun to think about. Even if it's not the case, the fact that a network is giving all appearances of being actually behind a show I'm fannish about -- especially one that represents such a departure from their usual menu -- is a new and strange experience...

Well, darn. But if you keep your eyes open, somebody might just make it available somewhere ...

And if they do, point it out to me!! :->

Oh, nevermind -- I just realized it was a streaming thang on their site. That probably won't be anywhere. I was thinking it was like the episode 8 that went out early on iTunes.

That's what I thought too when I first saw people posting about it, until I read closer.

Sadly, I was actually online at the time...in the opera office, downloading a printer driver so we could get a mailing out on time after one of the computers got fritzed. :-P By the time I got home? Playing online = LAST thing I wanted to do. *sigh* Ah, well.
