New layout

Several new public layouts since the last time I changed it, and finally tried something other than Component. The only thing I don' t like about Quite Lickable is that there's no option for a navigation link at the bottom as well as at the top. It annoys me to scroll all the way down a page on my flist, and then scroll all the way back up to go to previous. *pout* However, I *love* that you can have a separate top banner and page background graphic with the addition of a simple layer. (A variant on the one I had to do to get only a banner in Component.) You can even put a separate background graphic in the content area in regular customization, but wow, would that not have worked in this case.

It is, as brainiacfive put it, colorful. I tried to keep it simple in the area where people are actually trying to read, but there's not much I could do about the background graphic (short of going monochrome, which just doesn't say "diva" to me!). Even keeping it strictly to opera and Broadway, just too many goddesses I had to include. :-)

ETA: Might be helpful to identify them, huh?

"Snaking" down from top left: Kristin Chenoweth, Cecilia Bartoli, Kathleen Battle, Montserrat Caballé, June Anderson, Linda Eder, Kiri Te Kanawa, Mady Mesplé (she's the Lakmé on the Flower Duet recording you most often hear in commercials), Lily Pons, Sarah Brightman, Carolee Carmello, Amelita Galli-Curci (of whom I used to have a 78 from a thrift store, but it broke, but that's all one since my old turntable that played them died), Idina Menzel, Sara Ramirez, Audra McDonald, Beverly Sills.

Pretty! It reminds me of the pretty colored bubbles in The Wizard of Oz for some reason...

Glad you like! (Was more than a little afraid everyone would find it hopelessly annoying...)

I was afraid it would end up getting on my nerves, but I'm getting used to it. Hopefully others will too...

Very nice. Please identify the goddesses. I see Cecilia Bartoli, Kiri te Kanawa, Beverly Sills, Kristen Chenowyth, Kathleen Battle, La Brightman and Maria Callas. Who am I missing?

Er, that could be helpful, huh? *blush* (I think I was mostly figuring people wouldn't care...)
