I actually have no idea what the dollar amounts refer to. I assume they're cumulative box office, but no idea what they include or whether they're adjusted for inflation or whatever. But still amusing.

They're the top US box office totals, not adjusted for inflation. Or Gone With the Wind would be on top, IIRC. :) Go IMDB!
